Product Description

  1. Application

KGCA   charger is a new type special charger for battery . Charger contain DC Voltage Regulator, so charger can supply  to the battery or dc load with power. This system is controlled by digital intelligent with multi charge mode, simple operation and reliability, there is no phase sequence requirement. The transformer is made by high strength paint copper, it can achieve H grade high temperature resistance and isolation, the power units are made by aluminum profile and high-power disc type thyristor units with high performance and reliability.

2  Working conditions

2.1 The sea level of the working site shall not exceed 3000m.
2.2 The ambient temperature ranges from -10ºC to +50ºC.
2.3 The relative humidity is not higher than 95%.
2.4 There is no conductive dust, explosive gas, corrosive gas for metal, infective gas for insulation and steam around the site.
2.5 There is no violent vibration and slope lager than 5°on the site.
2.6 The ventilation on the site must be good.

3  Technical parameters

3.1 Charger technical parameters
3.1.1 Input: three phase AC380V 50Hz(as per customer requirement), the allowable voltage tolerance for the line is ±5%.
3.1.2 power rate 144KVA.
3.1.3 The rated DC output current: 220A.
3.1.4 The rated DC output voltage: 400V.
3.1.5 The rated DC output voltage means the max. charge voltage, if the input AC voltage of the line is 10% lower than the nominal voltage, then the DC output voltage will be lower than rated voltage. The rated DC output current means the max. charge current during operation.
3.1.6 Functions: constant current, constant voltage
3.1.7 The accuracy for constant current: the accuracy for current is less than ±1% when the rated value ranges from 20% to 100%.
3.1.8 The accuracy for constant voltage: the accuracy for voltage is less than ±1% when the rated value ranges from 20% to 100%.
3.1.9 The running mode for the main circuit: three-phase full-bridge controlled rectifier.



 
 4  Working Principle

4.1 Description
There are triangle/star transformers to compose a three-phase full-bridge controlled rectification circuit. In this way it can carry out the  charge function. The contactor will control the conduction angle of the thyristors to change the output voltage and current. The charger contain DC Voltage Regulator, so charger can supply  to the battery or dc load with power. The fast acting fuse installed on the output terminal of the charger will cut off the DC circuit (main circuit) quickly to protect the batteries and thyristors if there is short circuit in the DC output or batteries.
